Aww, nothing wrong with keeping fan stuff from something you aren't into anymore, imo. When something is a huge part of your life for years and years, it's difficult to get rid of it.

That said, you get some closure/happiness from passing your collection along to a younger fan. :) At one point in my life I moved, and had to get rid of nearly all my possessions. Most just went to the library or local thriftstores, but I handed on all the manga and all my Japanese study books to a neighbor's daughter. I know she really got a kick out of them, especially since manga is so expensive that a lot of teens really can't afford to collect it.
