I hardly think their victims care much in whether or not they are capable of forming meaningful emotional bonds.

But we are not talking about their victims. We are talking about their SOs/family. You are making a completely different argument from the one the thread is about.

The point is, both men are disgusting and horrible, and if we're in it for "healthy" relationships, I fail to see how one is morally superior to the other. Both are fucked up.

It's not about moral superiority at all, that is NOT the argument being made. You can be a horrible person and still be capable of forming a loving relationship with someone. Dany and Drogo DID love each other; though I certainly wouldn't call their relationship healthy, that's not the point that's being argued. (You quoted the word "healthy"; did I say that or someone else?) Drogo was capable of feeling love because he was not a psychopath. That is the point.
