I respect that you acknowledge that the malfunction is at your end. That's more than a lot of people can do. I wish you the best of luck in learning to understand things better, and I hope one day you can look back on this post and go "It was true... that was all I could see back then" and feel a swell of pride at how much you've grown.

Cultural relativity is always a bullshit concept to make an excuse for actions that are objectively immoral. Applying it to fantasy fiction is even dumber than using it irl.
