I don't really ship that many fucked up pairings, I just ship normal pairings in fucked up ways, for the most part.

Incest: I ship Matsucest with a particular love for KaraIchi. For SPN, Dean/Sam and Dean/John, the latter preferably abusively. It's nice to see so much Wincest appreciation in this thread. And Elricest for FMA.

Student teacher and age differences: Snape/Harry, Snape/Neville, Snape/Hermione and Hermione/McGonagall for HP. Roy/Ed and Roy/Al for FMA.

Abuser/victim: Anna/Hans.

Fictionally problematic (i.e problematic based on things that could never occur in the real world anyway) and thus otherwise uncategorizable: Sammy Oak/Ash Ketchum for Pokemon.

I love the dynamic too, though I have surprisingly few student/teacher ships because I don't watch much media with teachers in it. Harry Potter was about it. Ooh, other than Kakashi/Sakura and a few others from Naruto :3 that's another good series for student/teacher shipping.

yeah, I definitely got an oak/ash vibe from that one movie where ash meets oak as a child (which I'm guessing is what you're referring to by "things that could never occur in the real world anyway." Oh, time travel...)

Yes, that's what I meant! I should have clarified, 'cause I don't ship adult!Samuel Oak with Ash, just the time-traveled version of the ship.

I have no idea if people consider that ship fucked up but it's strange enough that I wouldn't be surprised if people found some ethical issue with it.

Of course, shipping anyone who was ever a child is problematic to some people...
