I found a webcomic I might be interested in reading, but there's no static 'newest page' link, just a blog you have to click through to get to the updates, and life is too damn short.

If it's popular someone might have compiled it into a PDF or folder and put it up for torrenting. If it's not you could probably use a webscraper to nab the images for quicker reading, but that might fall under your "life is too damn short" category.

AYRT

No, clicking through the entire back archive isn't a problem; that has normal 'previous'/'next' buttons. But there's not a page that will always show the newest strip (nor is there even an archive masterlist), so if I wanted to keep reading after I finished the archive I'd have to bookmark the site's blog, check each new entry to see if it's actually a comic update, then find the link to the new page buried in the entry under all the various Patreon/Kickstarter announcements.

Oh I see. That sucks. Would checking the new entries through your email/RSS reader be too much trouble?

As someone who runs a webcomic themselves... it's really lazy that this webcomic doesn't have a newest page link. It's really not that difficult to make. Just requires a button with a hyperlink.
