My favorite ships are "tricky" because that's what draws me to the pairing in the first place. I'm all about those ambivalent "ew, it's gross, but hot, but gross" feelings. Hell, I've never even seen the newest Star Wars movie but I am all for Reylo just on principle.

#1 all-time tricky ship: Sansa/Littlefinger from ASOIAF (the show not so much because it's fucked up their characterization, but I'll take it). I've shipped them since 2001 -- 15 years of getting thrills from mindfuckery, with no end in sight. HERE FOR IT.

Close second: Justin/Iris from Carnivale. They could have been something glorious. :(
