Re: Early 20s zero work experience no connections

Try small mom & pop shops just to get your foot in the door. Depending on the place you'll end up doing so many odds and ends jobs that it will pad your resume. I worked at garden center in high school, but because of it, I learned customer service skills, which translated to me being the secretary at my engineering job any time the secretary called out. I've learned so many admin skills through filling in for other positions.

Do you go to church or volunteer? Find a social group and make connections too.
