This is a dumb argument. Dean Winchester is straight because he's straight in canon.

Nobody is stopping you from writing all the Sam/Dean your heart desires.

There is no vision. There's canon and then there's the freedom to ignore canon to do whatever you want, which we all still have and Takai isn't taking away.
