YES.

Of course, I also worry that I overwhelm people when I comment. Basically I'm so used to LJ and DW that I leave paragraph long replies, and realize everyone else just "liked" or said "yep lol." It feels awkward, even though I've had some friends tell me they like that I actually post insightful comments.

Yeah, it's a tough dynamic to figure out, and it's not made easier by my natural anxiety, you know? So I guess the best solution is to just try not to worry about it.

I always get more excited when I see someone has left a long comment rather than a "+1" because they've added something substantive to the conversation. So keep on doing what you're doing!
