I didn't commit suicide, which was definitely on the table last night and this morning. And I may be cutting off contact with my family (at least my mother, possibly my sister as well) because I just can't deal with the constant criticism anymore. So good or bad depending on whether I can decide if it's good I'm still alive or not.

It is good. Your life is good, and you are good.

What's not good is your family being shitstains and draining you of your will to live. If you're leery of the finality of cutting off contact *forever*, you can think of it as a temporary distance that will last as long as you need it to last.
