Most people I've met liked Naruto for at least a few seasons. It's nothing to be ashamed of since the first few seasons were actually good.

I sure as hell stopped watching as soon as the filler began tho.

This. Some of the filler was even cute, but there can only be so many dead-end arcs and pointlessness before the series loses its appeal.

Yeah... it was the NOTHING IS HAPPENING quality that eventually made me drop it. Wouldn't be the first time a mangaka has had to draw out a series because it got too popular, and that's precisely what made Naruto's quality take such a nosedive.

Yeah. I read the manga for a bit, but I think I stopped at some point when the plot didn't seem to actually be advancing and everything got convoluted.
It was fun at the beginning, though.

Tbh Naruto Shippuden started off really strong and had some of the best scenes in the first arc. Sakura even got actual development, but it quickly went downhill for me. I stopped after the Pain arc.

I went through a Weeb phase in secondary school so I certainly can't judge, and if it wasn't for that fact that I couldn't stand the main trio I might have watched it for longer than 10 or so episodes.

I was too, OP, and I'm not even ashamed of it. I wrote so much shitty Gaara/Rock Lee fanfic and had endless arguments with my friends over who Naruto would end up with. I was a Sasuke fangirl and had a shirt that looked like his. I would've worn the headband to school if I'd been able to get it to stay on. I read the manga to the bitter end and I still like it, but I'm not that crazy of a fan anymore.
