But seriously, I agree. I don't know what PAD was drinking when he started both pairing off women on the team with Jamie and making Jamie's powers even more bonkers.

And I guess Maddie got screwed over because despite everything they ever said to make her her own character, she was replacement Jean. Boo.

I think PAD is the perfect example of why some writers shouldn't write for their favorite characters. PAD has Terry, Monet, and both child and adult Layla all over Jamie. The poor dupe baby where he showed extensively Jamie grieving but Terry get an "oh. you're probably still grieving over your father." Than we get a forced "I've always loved you." before Terry randomly gets turned into a celtic goddess so Jamie and Layla can get their happily ever after.
