Or are there any real-world religions that you like the idea of, even if you don't practice them?

I'm an atheist, but if I were to practice something it would probably be some form of neopaganism since all of my pagan friends have just been the coolest, chillest bunch.

I also like the idea of worshipping something more tangible like nature rather than some invisible omnipotence. Also the rituals seem like a pretty damn good time lol. Get drunk/high/naked and dance around in the woods > most other religious gatherings.

I'm an atheist but spiritually neopagan, if that counts.

I don't believe in any religions. I'm fine with most religions, I think most of them are pretty interesting as systems of ideas and aesthetics and history and personal lessons. I just don't believe in, you know, God (or have similar issues with non-theistic religions).

If I were religious, I'd probably be Catholic because, you know, I grew up Catholic, mostly.

Does it count that while I consider myself an Adventist and am still on the membership roll of the church two doors away, I haven't actually gone to a service in years? I could bloody walk there without breaking a sweat (unless it's summer)... but I just never get up on Saturdays in time, and frankly I'm lazy.

I find some Jewish thought and debate really interesting. It's the only religion I've ever even been slightly tempted to convert to, and I've known folks who have, but I likely never would.

That said I might keep lurking quietly around the local trans Jewish service in town. Maybe learn a bit more. But being trans and wanting to convert to ANYTHING is like running naked out on an active paintball field.
