Yes. When people whine about Don Draper sleeping around.

Like, buddy, you're missing the whole point. You're SUPPOSED to hate seeing him sleep around. His whole character is based on him being so self-loathing that he becomes a sex addict. It's not "bad writing" at all! It's literally the point the writers are trying to make!

Along those lines, people who refer to Joan as the office slut, and talk about how she "kept her job on her back." Well, it's not like there were too many options for a single mother back then. God, people.

And it's not like she did it by choice either! I think people forget that this is the 50s and 60s, so life is going to be a lot grittier.
