Charles Xavier anyone? Obi-Wan Kenobi? The Winchesters? Batman?

I am Obi-Wan Kenobi and I never officially finished my training before I was given an apprentice but I say that Jedi don't have emotional attachments Anakin. Jedi are impartial Anakin. Except we're against the Empire. Also you're my brother and I love you(direct quote) but I'm going to judge you super hard for loving someone else and having a family and emotions, then falling prey to manipulations of someone who says "I think its okay for you to have those things" when I didn't even though I positioned myself as LITERALLY your only support system from childhood. I'm then going to make sure that your son thinks you're both dead AND evil at the same time but! I'm the good guy here and your son's moral and ethical compass for three movies!

Yeah okay.

Christopher Nolan's Batman does horribly sketchy immoral shit while preaching about The Right Thing To Do the whole time for all three movies and doing shit that basically destroys the city he vowed to protect.

Sam and Dean Winchester are HUGELY guilty of this. Oh we have to do whats right! We have to go by an ethical compass! Protect humans - unless they are killers! Kill monsters - unless they are nice! So really the morality that counts is our personal judgement on a case by case basis wherein we the Winchesters are judge jury and executioners but its whats RIGHT. Cosmically.

And do not get me started on Charles Xavier. You have the power to go into every major government on earth and erase all discriminatory laws and you wont do it because of your ethics and morals, but you'll go into the minds of friends and students and look at their memories and sometimes erase them? Also you claim to be a pacifist but you've got an army OF PEOPLE YOU'VE BASICALLY BEEN GROOMING SINCE THEY WERE CHILDREN TO BE WEAPONS but you give Erik a hard time for scooping justifiably angry adults off the streets? And you're the moral center of the universe(Granted I'm working mostly with movie universe Charles but still). That doesn't seem quite right.
