That's how you read this secret? I read it as a combination of that and very little feedback.

Well, I understand being frustrated by little feedback, but even combined with the reformat command, to ragequit writing for life seems over the top to me.

Not getting much feedback sucks, sure. But readers don't owe you feedback and gloating over a dead community because nobody commented on your fic is hard to interpret as anything except petty.

Eh, I understand. :/ I once posted my first time to a new comm and had my post deleted by a mod with a "helpful" passive aggressive note that I was in the wrong format and should try again bc one of the members/mods (I forget which) was on dialup. Yeah. So was I. It took me about an hour to upload my post. So fuck that. I left. They could've easily fixed the thing and left me the same note without deleting my post and being so passive aggressive, but nope.

Apparently they can. They are probably right that the comm didn't deserve them, just not the way they think.

I read it as "I never wrote any more [fic for that comm]", while others seem to read it as "I never wrote any more [fic in general]".

OP here.
I never wrote any more for that comm. I was already a prolific writer in other fandoms, and people seem to like my stuff and continue to do so.
I know it was petty to react that way to that comm, but making this secret should help let it go. At the time I thought it was very rude and unhelpful of them, and I'd like to think I'd never treat anyone like that, let alone a noob.

I like how you let everyone carry on believing that you quit writing forever over one bad experience, and then at the very end, when everyone's attention is on the next secrets post, you conveniently get asked to clarify.

I can't decide if you're impersonating OP, or if the comm really did dodge a bullet when you quit.
