Currently reading "Unplugged" by Donna Freitas and "A Darker Shade of Magic" by V. E. Schwab.

I love "A Darker Shade of Magic" SOOOOOO much. The sequel was great, but it ended on a cliffhanger so I'm eagerly awaiting the next one.

Oh, I didn't even know A Darker Shade of Magic is part of a series. Would you say it reads all right as a standalone?

I think you could read it and the ending does let it stand alone but I love the characters and really enjoyed the sequel.
