Haven't you talked about her before? She sounds like a major piece of work.

Would it help to let your brother know you think your relationship with him is deteriorating because you haven't spent one-on-one time with him lately?

I complain about her all the time. She's the one person in the world I actively dislike. I don't like disliking people so I can usually talk myself down to feeling neutral, but I can't do it with her.

And I can't talk to my brother without her hearing what I say. She's not above reading his texts and emails. She's also not above accusing me of trying to control her if I make a complaint.

Honestly, if you text him that without mentioning her name, and she reads it and takes it personally, she's being a drama queen. Maybe don't make it about her? Just make it about you and your bro. Don't say she's the reason you haven't been doing much with him, just indicate you'd like to spend some one-on-one time with him soon.
