More Pokemon hunting for me. This time with the dog later at night (since it is 104 degrees out right now). I'm also going to start playing WoW again to prepare for the new expansion. So that'll be confusing and fun.

Going to a dinner thing tonight, then going to try and meet up with an Internet Friend this weekend who just moved to my area, so that should be interesting.

What are you having for dinner? And I hope the meeting goes well.

That depends. I need to get some driving practice in. And maybe a trip to the pool. But I'm on my second day of a migraine, and I don't know if it will be gone by tomorrow.

That sucks. I hope the migraine abates soon and you can go swimming (and a bit of driving).

Writing cover letters (blergh), but my reward for getting through that will be going to a soccer game and the library.

Double blergh. I hope the weather is good for the game. :D

I'm going to Table Rock for a hike. Got some snacks and my hiking boots ready! Afterwards I'm gonna give in to temptation and splurge on the new Star Trek movie.

Also gonna cook some food for the upcoming week. It's easier to resist temptation to go out if I have food ready made at home.

Gonna write. I wrote a kinky original story and it's made some sales on Amazon (check it out and give me your money: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ILGZ1C6#navbar ) so I'm writing some more.

Gonna watch the last season of Downton Abbey, because the library just got the dvds!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a busy (and tiring) weekend. What is the weather like there?

Cooking food ahead of time is a great idea. I do it with breakfast burritos often (they are so delicious).

That looks like a book that would be pretty popular on Tumblr, have you promoted it there?

I'm tempted to just finally take the router we have and smash it with a hammer so that the cheapskates that dare call themselves family have to get a new one because I'm sick of an ancient router that barely damn well works.

If I don't get a chance to do that I'll probably try to convince a friend to stream Transformers Prime even if I have to watch from an uncomfortable position in any other room but the one I prefer to spend time on my computer in.

You could just drop the router. Over and over.

I hope you can get your show to stream to watch with your friend. :(

I have a friend's son's 13th birthday party tomorrow afternoon and working on Sunday. We went to IKEA yesterday so I'm hoping to convince someone to help me put together some of the furniture.

I hope it ends soon too. We can't go out until 9 because it so hot.

I hope you provide the friend something fun for dealing with dreaded furniture building. :P

I gotta go take some stuff to the dump, so that'll be a fun trip out. Otherwise it's doing some laundry.

I used to hate going to the dump. Especially when I was big enough to carry the bags because then my dad always made me do it. :[

My first mini vacation all by myself in over three years. That's how long I've been taking care of my mom. She's in a nursing home with great care and is safe. More safe than what could manage to work with. It's my birthday on Sunday so I am hiking in a state park, the IN dunes. Tomorrow will have me running a race (I am so looking forward to the humidity bleah). But just some touristy stuff, playing around. I am looking forward to it!

But my hotel is two stories and doesn't have an elevator. WTH?

I'm going to a Pokemon Meetup/hunt thing (the town I'm going to apparently has pokestops all over the historic district and lures are going to be set up) and they're going to be showing the first Pokemon movie outside. :3 And it'll be at night so hopefully it won't be too hot.

Birdwatching at the Rock Cliff Recreation Area out by Heber, Utah. Hopefully the elevation will be high enough to be cooler than down here in the valley, but not high enough to nearly kill me like it did a couple weeks ago out at Brighton.

And I've got an outline in the can for this weird west thing, so I want to sit down and write the thing.

Taking dog up to the mountain for some freezing cold but no snow fun. No reception so no pokemon :(

My family's finally going to have that yard sale in the morning, and we will all probably spend the afternoon crashing afterwards. On Sunday I'll probably go ride my horse. I hope to do some writing as well.

I saw the new pain doc on Thursday (yay) and he actually took me seriously (double-yay) and so I'm on a new (less-sedating) muscle relaxant and a nerve pain med and also prednisone, and something in that combo (or maybe the fact that it's three new meds all at once) is knocking me out. (Not so yay, but hey, weekend.) So I'll take it easy. Maybe I'll make it to Ghostbusters?

Apparently I need to look into getting my sewing machine fixed. Something isn't letting it run properly. Big old metal 70s Kenmore workhorse, and it was running fine last time I used it 3 weeks ago.
