My first mini vacation all by myself in over three years. That's how long I've been taking care of my mom. She's in a nursing home with great care and is safe. More safe than what could manage to work with. It's my birthday on Sunday so I am hiking in a state park, the IN dunes. Tomorrow will have me running a race (I am so looking forward to the humidity bleah). But just some touristy stuff, playing around. I am looking forward to it!

But my hotel is two stories and doesn't have an elevator. WTH?

That is fantastic. I think the IN stands for Indiana? Based on google that it looks like the weather won't be too terrible for that (except for the humidity).

I guess the stair walking will be a work out? :P
