Life skills -- with units on:

how to manage your finances
how to keep your home clean
how to take care of your health
how to handle your transportation (maintain a car, navigate buses and trains, read a map)
how to handle conflict
how to cope with loss
how to define and maintain boundaries
how to care for pets
how to care for children
basic etiquette

I have zero desire to have children, why the hell should I learn how to take care of them?

Because you never know when you might be in a position where you have to watch someone else's kid.

And I too have zero interest in having kids myself (and at almost 40, have known that for 30 years). It's still useful life knowledge that doesn't hurt to have.
