I'm going anonymous because I don't like announcing my location online, but if you really cared I could maybe create a sock account?

I live in Rochester, and I like it. I have a decent amount in walking distance from me, and the bus system is pretty good. There are also bike lanes on a lot of roads so that it is safer for everyone involved. I didn't have a car for 5 years and did okay, and someone I work with hasn't had a car in over a decade.

I also like that the area is big enough to have access to some larger city things like museums and sports, but small enough that it feels more intimate and connected. Also, with the universities, there is quite a diverse community. Uncluding a wonderful deaf community.

The major downfall in my opinion is the weather. Shittons of snow. If you don't like winter, or can't deal with cold, this is definitely not the place for you.
