I don't use it but I don't see anything wrong with doing so because let's face it, the official tracker is totally fucked and useless at the moment. Three times now I've spent my entire lunch break at work going in circles looking for a Pokemon that was showing up under "Nearby" but never finding it because I couldn't tell how close or far away it was.
