God speed, anon! *salutes* Transition was very expensive for me, but so worth it, and I hope it is for you too! (Er, worth it, not expensive.)

I haven't told my parents I broke up with my girlfriend because the subject hasn't come up yet.

Oh and they don't know I'm attracted to guys. I told my mom I'm gay because I'm only interested in dating women and it was just easier.

Sorry to hear of the breakup (unless it was a relief).

I kind of wish I could go waaaay back in time and come out as gay from the start so my parents wouldn't have 21 years of being sure I was straight. That would be simpler for me too.

That I'm a lesbian, not bi (they'd never, ever let me hear the end of it if they knew that they had no chance of a son-in-law from me). On that note--that I'm engaged. Or that I lost my virginity to a stranger under disreputable overall circumstances/not in a very nice way generally and especially by their standards.

I also don't think they realize how badly they fucked up my brother. Or me. /eyeroll

My mom doesn't know (and will NEVER know) that I got pregnant and had a miscarriage when I was nineteen.

If I told her, she would just grieve for the "grandchild she never knew," and there is literally no upside to telling her.

Notably my gender identity. Most of my fandoms/interests. What I read/write/think about.

They both know I'm not 100% straight though, to some extent. (Not that straightness is relevant to me any more, but, gender identity *shrug*)

I'm a hardcore atheist and I intend to defect if Trump gets elected.

This appears to be a theme in this thread, but that I'm bi.

That I drink, do weed, have had casual sex and smoked cigarettes.

I mean I talk to my dad a couple times a year so there is a lot he doesn't know about me. (I'm a lesbian, I have a girlfriend, I have sex, etc etc)

That I'm bi.

That I'm bisexual. They assume I'm straight and I don't disabuse them of the notion. If I ever end up with a girlfriend, then I'll tell 'em. I don't think it would be a big issue (probably more getting them to understand that I"m still bi, regardless of the gender of my partner).

They don't know I write slash/fan fic, though my sister does.

As far as my parents know, I'm straight as an arrow. Dad, I wouldn't mind telling. In fact, I think in my case it might be genetic, but he's so far in the closet, he's in Narnia.

But Mom's a devout Roman Catholic. And I still remember the moment my grandmother burned all her Liberace memorabilia after his death when it came out that he was gay.

My friends know. The Internet knows. My therapist and doctors know. Just not my parents.

My parents also don't know I write smutfic. They know I write, just not exactly what. O:)

I... I don't know actually. I mean, I'm sure there's gotta be something, but I'm very close to my parents and always have been. They pretty much know I'm asexual (even if I've never really put it in those terms, just said I'm not interested in people/sex etc), they know I wrote gay fiction (that I got something published, they were super excited for me and ask about my sales).

I really can't think of anything that's never come up. Is that weird?

My parents know I'm bi, but they don't know I'm a FRRRREAK

(to be fair, even I didn't until this new relationship started. It's my first one with sex involved [I'm a shy awkward nerd, hi there] and I am just ROARING OUT WITH A VENGEANCE RIGHT NOW MYGOD. I feel like a wild animal)
