Re: What is a great compliment you have received?

I'm going to give two, because I'm not sure the second one was even really meant to be a compliment.

First one was in middle school. We had to write a story for our exam using a particular narrative technique. A few days (?) later, my teacher stopped me in the middle of the hall in front of everyone to tell me that my story was the best thing he'd ever read and since it was also grammatically flawless, he had wanted to give it a perfect score. I freaking adored that teacher and was pretty proud of my writing even then, so that compliment, in front of loads of people...Made my day.

Second one was more recent. The context is weird and I'm not sure if it's relevant, but basically my brother told me I had 'never been very sensitive to peer pressure' (in general, but especially compared to him, I think). As I said, I'm not sure he was trying to give me a compliment, but I loved hearing that.
