Well I can't speak for her relationship record (though I do agree eight guys in eight years does not sound like a bad record), but I have heard that she loves her cats and I am inclined to trust that she is acting according to what she knows her cat will accept.

That attitude gets far too many cats and dogs run over by cars and mauled by bigger animals every year. Love and responsibility aren't interchangeable.

Well, except that loving someone or something doesn't automatically mean you make the best decisions about them, or that you can't make mistakes even with the best of intentions. Look at all the overweight cats and dogs that end up in shelters and rescues. Their owners loved them, too! It's just that despite that love, they were overfeeding their pets and endangering their health. Just because your dog will happily accept eating a package of hot dogs every day doesn't mean that's a good idea and all the love in the world doesn't alter that.
