I was most disappointed by them leaving out the bit on the ship where Ros gets Guil to play a game of guessing which hand he has a coin in, but he has coins in both hands the whole time cause he just wants to make Guildenstern happy

Oh man, I remember that comm! So awesome.

EDIT: Also, back as a kid, I had a really entertaining dream about the two of them going into this metafictional limbo after their deaths--something about them only repeating the cycle when someone starts reading, so when someone finishes the book, they got to have adventures with all the other off-duty fictional characters of other stories.

They got to encounter Captain Ahab with a shark, and they asked him, "Where's the whale?"

Ahab replied, "The whale is otherwise engaged."

Damn was that a fun dream.
