What does "most Asians" mean? What does "live in Asia" even mean?

Are you saying Indians pronounce it like Indonesians pronounce it like the Japanese pronounce it like the Chinese pronounce it like Filipinos?

Yeah, the way they pronounced in the film was how an Indian kid the director went to school with pronounced it. Fair enough. It's hardly how "all Asians" pronounce it. Chinese/Japanese/Korean pronunciation is different again.

totally agree with you

also, isn't the way a fictional character's name should be pronounced be up to the creators of said fictional character

also also, just because a fantasy world is based on a real-life cultures doesn't mean they are required to be totally accurate representations of those cultures. see: every fantasy story I can think of based on european cultures

sorry, I wanted to reply just to say I agree and ended up ranting myself LOL
