Being able to afford college

Being able to finally pay for my college.

I always fantasize about winning the lottery and how I would spend the money.

I also daydream about what I would do if A) the zombie apocalypse happened B) or a gunman came into my workplace/home/grocery story. I need to know my exit strategies.

I have hero fantasies. Like, suddenly bad guys storm into the office, or like a dragon (not joking), and I suddenly take down everyone and save the day. Or I have secret magical powers that I can't tell everyone about, but my dark backstory is catching up with me and I have to protect the people I love by exposing myself. Or I have magical pets like dragons or Pokemon that no one knows about but I go to great lengths to keep secret.

...I don't read that many young adult novels I swear. I'm just a boring nobody in real life so my imagination tries to compensate!

Going on adventures, superhero fantasies, hanging out with Bucky Barnes even in non-sexual ways.

Going back to bed. Seriously. Until around two in the afternoon I am perpetually exhausted and imagining pillows and a nest of blankets. Then I wake up around two-ish and remain wide-a-fucking-wake until around two in the morning. Every fucking day, for around about the last ten years of my life.

Usually just daydreaming fanfic stuff. But like the cracky shit I'd never write, like, "what if this guy from a family drama is actually in a secret organization and really badass and then has to save his family! And maybe his dead dad who pulled him into the organization isn't really dead but brainwashed and evil now, and THEY FIGHT! And then the dad almost kills the son in front of everyone else, and the son's all "It's okay, dad! I know it's not you doing this..." which makes the dad pause until help comes and drops him just in the nick of time!"

Or, "what if this character on this show about normal people is secretly a werewolf! Or a vampire! Or a supersoldier! Or a wizard!"

Basically its a whole lot of ripping off one fandom and pasting it onto another.

Planning the perfect thematic wardrobe with a variety of outfits for every type of event and weather imaginable.

I fantasize a lot about being the hero of a fandom/fandoms I'm into at the moment, saving the day and defeating the villain. I have these whole elaborate stories created, but the common threads are that I'm always physically strong (a trait I want and don't possess) and brilliant and talented at whatever special power is int hat fandom.

Fandom stuff, like my ships. Or adding to my own high-fantasy world that I've got in my head.

There is a cute cat and I am petting it.

I also like to imagine what I'd do/say if I met a celebrity I admired, and I also rehearse potential fights I might get into with people so that way I feel prepared when they happen.

I daydream about my future kids a lot

And the movies I wish I could make/existed

And fiction I never bother to actually write :P

Living in a nice house decked up to my hearts content in the woods (not too far from the city),with a car. I have a couple cats and a bf/gf. I work from home while writing and creating.

Owning a tiny house! Being debt-free! Being in a steady relationship! Getting married (as in I specifically think about the wedding itself because I like weddings a lot - obviously there's also a sexual side to this but wedding cake and decor and ceremony and stuff is fun)

For stuff that is actively supernatural: being the hero/leader of some cool badass team of people. I have a couple different settings for this. I think about the cool costume I'd wear, what weapon/special powers I'd have, if I'd use a pseudonym, and people liking/respecting me (as a leader)

Fantasy about me being this super mega popular writer, like JK Rowling/GRRM. How everyone will read my interviews a thousand times to find something. How I will drop the hints that can make them crazy. How my stories will span across multimedia, and they would all be popular af.

Having enough money to buy several hundred acres of land so I can build an amazing house for myself, designed to my exact specifications and furnished exactly how I'd like. I'd also have enough money to take my whole family on a great vacation, make sure my parents have a comfortable retirement and that my siblings don't have to worry about money for the rest of their lives.

I have a house on some farmland, a husband, and some kids. We're all safe, healthy, and generally happy. The rest of my tiny family is safe, well, and happy. And I've won the huge lotto jackpot so we only have to work if we want to.

Or nix the lotto because I have magic for some reason. Although that one is less husband, kids, small farm, and tons of money, and more heal the sick, clean up pollution, end drought, fill up depleted aquifers on a human rather than geological timescale, and fix my current house and garden. Oh, and cheap and easy space travel/colonies, not so much for me as for people that want to go.

I daydream a lot about being a skinnier/prettier version of myself

I also daydream about that version of myself being Daniel Avidan's girlfriend; rarely anything sexual, just being together

Aside from that, mostly fic I haven't written yet

Total Mary Sue trash, like a few people above. Being a badass hero in either mundane danger situations (shooter!) or fantastic ones (evil wizards/etc!). Imagining I am a character (creating new storylines, or just pretending 'I'm not just doing the dishes, I'm [character] having to wash dishes!') or imagining I suddenly have the ability to travel into storylines (again, as total Mary Sue trash who has all the cheat codes to rock the timeline and wow whoever is the apple of my eye) which sometimes bleeds into my history fascination where I ponder being able to meet real historical figures.

And sometimes just completely mundane RL roleplay: I'd say this to my boss, or tell my coworker that, or go outrageously flirt with that guy over there. Mostly the other stuff though. :)

When I was younger and in really stressful situations -- last year of college and not knowing what I was going to do with myself and career when I graduated, for example -- I would imagine something horrifically cataclysmic and world-ending like the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs happening so I'd die and not have to worry about anything anymore. Then I'd feel bad because I didn't want to wish death on other people, just myself.

Aside from that, um... subsets of my friends and family that aren't on good terms getting along with each other is a big fantasy of mine. The reverse is one of my worst recurring nightmares, and it happens much more frequently.

Very Mary Sue type super magic powers, fixing world problems, creating virtual worlds, going back in time and living through history.

This will sound absolutely ridiculous, but I design my dream bathroom. I ponder EXACTLY what kind of tub and shower I would have, what kind of flooring, and I'll use all sorts of high-tech wish-fulfillment to make THE ULTIMATE BATHROOM. (For instance, the floors will be some kind of cushy foam so you can really LOUNGE in that tub, but of course, the foam is completely impervious to any kind of mold or nastiness.) Perhaps there will be plants, or glass walls looking out onto a pristine forest, or mirrors that never ever fog up... the sky's the limit, really.

Weirdly, I never design the rest of the dream house, just the bathroom. Apparently in my head, I can go full on Star Trek utopia for bathroom design, but a whole house just seems too much.
