What online dictionary? That is not any definition I have ever seen. Of course, I have also never seen a definition of introversion that involves hating all social interaction (that would be antisocial and not actually healthy).

my general understanding is introversion refers to needing a higher percentage of alone time vs. social time than extroversion and vice-versa for mental/emotional health. Additionally there are correlations with things like preferring small groups to crowds, but that's not always going to be true

(for the record, I am an extrovert, but dislike any definition of extroversion that is basically synonymous with "outgoingness" and/or "party animal". no, that is not what that word means)
