Re: What should I study next?

Depends greatly on what you want to get out of your study. A challenge? Mandarin Chinese. Practical advancement? A work-related course, obviously. Python is probably great if you want to do something with computers, or if there's stuff you want to do where knowing Python would give you an extra boost (disclaimer: i don't know anything about Python so I'm reaching). German is pretty useless as languages go unless you've got a specific reason to study it--you're planning to go to Germany, you want to do research that requires German translation, you have friends and/or family who speak it, etc.--but it's fun and pretty easy if English is your first language (former German minor speaking).

And proof reading, while great, is overrated.
