Preach it. Peas and beans are cheap foods, they count towards whatever arbitrary measure your government uses as a health measure, and they are a lazy way to add colour and texture. This means virtually every producer will shove them in stuff as both a cost cutting measure and a checkbox on the "health" statement. It isn't that I object to that per se, it is that every brand uses them in virtually all of their food, and every restaurant shoves them onto plates as a quick filler to let their cook get through multiple orders as fast as possible.

At least have a couple of meals without them stuffed in there. Even vegans have better odds on beating meat in a steak house (a meal that will definitely feature beans and peas) than a legume-a-phobe.
