Nothing arbitrary about it, and I don't see where I said anyone should be nasty. Personally, when I see something I dislike, I just back out and move on without leaving comments. Exceptions made if constructive criticism is requested, because that's how we get better at things. Shame your own negative comment here is both poorly reasoned and nasty! Pot, meet kettle. <3

Knock the cutesy shit off.

My point is that crit is obe thing and even then it doesnt mean reviewrs have open season to treat the author how they like. But nobody should have to just "deal with whatever people throw at them or keep quiet.

Commenters have some responsibility in howthey behave even on the internet. And people who post something have the right to say a comment is unwanted and uncalled for. Just because something is online doesnt mean the author has to take whatever treatment they get because "its the internet" . What i mean is for fucks sake, take responsibility for yourself on ghe internet and avoid what fills you with rage. Because it wont be the authors fault if someone says something awful to them over their fic

I responded to your comment because i sisagreed with the argument you were giving.

With that response you sound as bad as authors who think constructive critcsm is mean. I've seen this "well YOU'RE doing the same thing so youre a hypocrite so go away" thing lousy arguers do when they dobt want to be critcized or disagreed with.
