I think fic readers should just accept that fic they don't like is going to happen. Making people feel bad for writing it is self centered and immature. And honestly if you claim that someone else has to just deal with your behavior towards them or keep quiet, that just tells people you can't take responsibility for your lack of self control so you expect the world to put up with it.

It doesnt work that way. Its not their fault you're a dick

Yup. If I don't like a fanfic, I backbutton. Or if it's a fic that with just a little tweaking I would like, I sometimes write my own version as drawerfic.

There's no need to bash an author over it.

+1 I don't get why clicking out/backbuttoning of a fic one doesn't like is so hard for some people to do.
