I am down with the OC fanart if it is a) well done fanart and b) the pictures are not in themselves cringey (OC fighting a villain or standing there looking cute? cool by me. OC clinging possessively to the arm of canon character who is sweatdropping, because the artist thinks that's cute? all the secondhand embarrassment.) Poorly drawn OC art (like, the kind that looks like it was drawn by a particularly uncoordinated 8 year old even though the author's bio says they're 25), or cringey OC fanart, just makes me think of things like chris chan and even though people can draw what they want, it doesn't mean I'm going to feel anything except cringe.
