Re: Shipping Patterns

Ships where one or preferably both parties have an unhealthy obsession on the other (but it isn't canonly romantic), but also have something important in common (so they almost feel like 'soulmates gone wrong'). Often overlaps with hero/villain, but the obsession is more important than the antagonism. I just love it when someone seems to think about the other person alll the time, I know it's bad and unhealthy but I can't help romanticizing it in fiction.

Examples:
Buffy/Faith, Jimlock, Ben/Locke from LOST, Wincest (non-villainous yet definitely obsessive example), Rinharu on S1, early SwanQueen
