That art is very cute. I've seen some Clint/Bucky, but yeah, it's a rarepair. I just find it weird your friend's just rigid to the point of not discussing it?

Most of Bucky's pairings use Winter.

So in this case it is actually mainly Winterhawk from what I've seen.

I'll never understand why "Stucky" stuck as the Steve/Bucky ship name, when "StarBucks" is clearly the supieior title.

Because smushes that don't include the characters' names are out of fashion. Except for Loki pairings being "Frost" for some fucking reason, which always throws me off as an Emma Frost/Tony Stark shipper!

Man, I feel you. I'm not sure I've actually read any Bucky/Clint (I never thought to look for it before, but I'm definitely going to now), but I have a tendency to ship Clint with like...everybody except Coulson and Natasha. I did well picking 'em there, huh? You want to talk about it with someone, I'll gladly talk with you.

I can sympathise with having no one to talk to about your ship but if your friend heavily ships a conflicting pair then I can get why they wouldn't talk about yours, I know I can't really do that if I OTP something. I can fully support a friend with their preference but I won't be able to discuss headcanons or feels over a pair I don't ship because I personally won't see it that way.

Maybe you could try scouting out the Clint/Bucky corners and see if you can find some like-minded people?

I'm putting myself in your friend's shoes and finding that, even if I didn't ship a different pairing heavily, it would be really hard for me to have something substantial to say about a ship I have no interest in. If I think about Clint/Bucky, it's like, yeah, that's... a thing, I guess. I don't care even a little.

If you put me on the spot I could probably half-ass something to say to you but it wouldn't be any fun for me, and shipping talk is only fun when everyone in the conversation is excited about the topic. So go find yourself some likeminded shippers. I don't know if your friend is actually "rigid" or not but if there's no interest, it isn't going to work out anyway. I love my friends to death but they know better than to try to engage me in a conversation about, say, football.
