I hate how dry my workplace is because of all of our stabilizer. :( I can't wear my contacts because of it.

I love that it is pretty laid back. We can shoot the shit all the time.

Workplace A: not knowing wtf is going on

Workplace B: there's usually someone in the office so I can't stuff my pockets with the candy in the supply cupboard

It's quiet where I work, nine tenths of the time.

This means that I get a lot done, or slack off, or get bored silly.

I also have a love/hate relationship with how many free calories my coworkers bring in for people to eat. Small chocolates and candies are good, but big fat coffee cakes and birthday cakes filled with artificial flavors? Nope. Free donuts are kind of caloric, too. Eep.

Laziness. We have too many people who think all they have to do is show up and they get paid.

My mom had a new hire who literally looked at a box on her slide and said, unironically, "You expect me to pick up a box?"

Lady, when you pick to work in WAREHOUSING AND SHIPPING, you gotta pick up boxes. Lots of boxes. And you gonna get filthy in the process.

The only thing I genuinely like (ok two things) is the pay for a part time job (i make 13.26/hr) and the benefits.

I work at a good office, high wages and benefits, and I hate how entitled some people get, how they take the perks for granted. Theoretically, everyone is a highly-trained professional, but sometimes it feels like it's mostly a group of whiny toddlers.

I love the flexibility of our workplace, and I love the location - we have a beautiful park outside and are close to walking trails and a riverbank.
