Re: What to bring to hospital when you know you'll be bored out of your skull?

If you have it (and like it), Tetris.

I also support downloading some stuff to a laptop or tablet. I spent a day sitting in hospital while having an iron infusion and one thing I had with me was transcripts of RP logs (along with the aforementioned tetris).

Movies are good too - one of my surgeries from a few years back was well-served by a portable DVD player, but if you can get downloads that's better.

And I also support taking drawing tools. I know I have a love of taking my Inquisitor's book and my drawing pens and doing one of my art pieces which tend to have a lot of close detail so they take up plenty of attention.

But yeah, take more than one thing to do, so when you get bored of one, you can switch to something else for a while.
