No? Not at all? No pairing has ever been made canon. And there wasn't a romantic storyline in AC unless you count Tifa being obsessed with Cloud as normal, and Cloud pining after dead Aeris.

They lived with Barret, too. And for what it's worth, it's canon that Cloud and Tifa had separate beds.

Well I personally dated Barret in FFVII, so that's canon enough for me.

Ha! Well in all fairness, Cloud/Barret is just as canon as Cloud/Aeris or Cloud/Tifa, in that Cloud can date any of them and none of them are endgame.
