I hated all the unnecessary Harley fanservice shots. Her character felt like a woeful man's idea of what he thinks a feminist wants to see.
I was reminded of these comic strips by Kate Beaton: Image

That said, she was was definitely a scene stealer (along with Will Smith, Viola Davis and that one uncorrupt guy played by a Swedish actor whose name I don't remember).

I saw the trial/original version and I'm dissapointed about some of the stuff they cut out.
In the original the Harley/Joker is portrayed as abusive and unhealthy. In this version it looked like they were supposed to be star-crossed lovers or some shit. Seriously biggest wtf realization for me.

Leto was awful. His babyface just wasn't scary... He had more scenes in the original and he actually felt a little more menacing in that. The final product in this film is a skinny latte when it should have been an espresso.

The plot was a mess. I hate SS slightly less than BvS (which I loathe).
Villains are what makes the Batman universe work and stand out, the one thing DC has over Marvel, but these villains aren't very watchable.

I'm a DC fan so this really hurts. All I asked for was a nice movie I could enjoy. It didn't need to be perfect or revolutionary. :(
Instead DC is playing catch up to Marvel. They don't seem to understand that you can't squeeze 10 years of planning (the MCU) into 4 weeks (the time in which the SS script was written). I've seen better, low-budget DC short films on youtube.

I'm just done. I can't even muster enough energy to get mad.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I only remember one obviously fanservice shot: her dressing in front of the troops.

Other than that, while she's definitely a cutie, I didn't see anything sexual that wasn't her using sex for specific reasons. I am not a fan of the skimpy outfits for her but we saw Harley Quinn without question here.

I am VERY interested in the Ayer original. What other differences were there between it and the final release? I hope they release it as a directors cut that's solely his vision.
