ff.net which I can't figure out how to easily tally, but I know it's mainly het there.

Nope! That depends entirely on the fandom, same as on AO3. Every big fandom I was when FFN was the undisputed juggernaut was overwhelmingly slash-dominated. On the whole, taking into account that some fandoms are bigger on one archive than the other, my experience is that the shipping demographics are pretty much equal.

I mean specifically for the one fandom. Believe me, it's het. The first three pages are all het pairing fic. I just don't know how to sort to get exact numbers.
