What about people who want to go to Japan because that's where their heritage is from? Or maybe they're genuinely interested in the culture/language? Not everything revolves around fandom.

Not the OP but it's pretty obvious that the secret isn't about people who want to go to Japan for their heritage or because of the culture/language. It's specifically about people who go because of their fandom interests. For some reason (reading comprehension failure on your part?) you're taking the OP to task for doing something they're not actually doing, because you made that part up in your head.
