I was under the impression that they couldn't do much with the Korrasami thing, because of Nickeloden not wanting a gay realtionship to be obvious so they could avoid controversy and still market the show to other countries that wern't super lgbt friendly. Could be wrong, but that's what I figured.

That may be true, but it was still horribly handled and the fact that they had to come out and SAY that, yes, they are thing, is what bothers me.
