I totally get how something like that would be satisfying. But 'thrill of power'? Really? What the hell kind of power can you possibly get from doing something like this when you're the only one who sees/knows/is affected by it?

That's what I'd like to know, considering that I posted something exactly like this a few weeks ago, minus the thrill of Power part.

I dunno. The power you get from fixing something? OP didn't say it was a huge power rush, so maybe it's a very tiny thrill. But don't take my word for it, I do a victory fistpump every time I manage to put a stamp on an envelope so that the edges are perfectly parallel with the envelope. Nobody cares but me. :)
