I really liked the first season. The last season after the time skip I didn't enjoy and stopped watching

Definitely agree the second season was a lot worse...I was devoted enough to the characters I enjoyed myself, but I might not have if I didn't care about them so much.

My memory is a bit foggy but I think it changed too much for me and I couldn't follow the story or characters anymore? I might have missed something in the season 1 finale but the time skip took me by huge surprise and basically through me out via confusion lol

I liked characters but I wasn't super invested to hang around and find out what was going on :s

But I really enjoyed that first season!

Yeah in season 2 they made some big changes and pulled some stuff out of their ass as well. They knew they were going to get cancelled at the end of the season (FOX literally meant to cancel after season 1 and forgot), so they went all in and the result was, as you say, confusion :P

you definitely missed something in the season 1 finale. fox didn't air the 13th episode and true finale "epitaph one," so the explanation for the time skip was basically only available if you bought s1 on dvd.

I had a foot out the door when Reed Diamond left and I'm not even sure I made it to season 2?

that's interesting, i don't often hear a lot of people say they liked the first season more! i thought season 2 was better than season 1 but also i mainly watched for topher, adelle, and alpha so my opinion is pretty skewed. what about season 2 didn't you like?
