It's Tuesday, the grass is green, the sky is blue, how are you

Trying to get back into therapy and e-mailing with somebody to see if I can make an appointment so hopefully that goes okay

The last several days have been a complete airstrike over Shitfuckistan. I'm currently too depressed to even eat. And I'm avoiding eating anyway because I'll just get diarrhea again which is SUPER fun when you're crippled let me tell you.

OMG I feel you, anon. I've been in the same situation a few months back. Hang in there :(

My AC hasn't been working since last Wednesday and they think they might be able to replace it Thursday with bonus new furnace because its 1982 ass is on the way out too.

We've had people fixing our roof for the last two days and I'm sick of the noise. And for most of today there was a ladder placed right outside my bedroom window that they were going up and down all the time and it was making my paranoia act up. The ladder is gone but the noise is still going and I'm so tense.

Well, alive still, so it seems.

Still not in a place I want to be, though. I did sort of muster the strength to start planning my birthday, though I'm probably a bit late about it.

Pretty good. Spent the day with my mum and two of my aunties going to various used clothing store outlets (it's a thing up here). We had lunch out. Missed my afternoon swim, but did make home in time to go to aquasize--where after the class I made up the laps I missed doing this afternoon.

My sister is going camping for 3 days starting tomorrow...house to myself for a bit, it'll be nice.

Tired and it's too warm and dry at work so my left eye is sore and suffering psoriasis.

I am very angry and I want to go back in time and teach Harry Truman the meaning of testicular torsion.

....is there a story behind this?

I started my new part time job at a cinema theatre yesterday! Today was my second day and so far I'm liking it (I work at the bar). It's so different from my last job I might cry of happiness. I still don't know how to do lots of things, but my co-workers seem all friendly and RELAXED. No one yelling at me for being slow/stupid/whatever and it's what I've always dreamed. Finally I can go home after working without crying in despair. WOW is this like normal people with normal job feel like?!
Now, I just work 12 hours a week and I need more money for my school etc, but it's a nice starting point. I've been depressed for months now and I feel great just having the courage to show my face in pubblic.
Life's good today.

Good luck! I once applied for a part time job at a cinema, but sadly disd not get it. Sounds like a good deal!

I did something to my hip two nights ago. I felt something pop when I rolled over, and I've been in pain ever since. Also, I had a bunch of nightmares last night and did not sleep very well. But I bought a cute skirt today, so I'm doing a bit better than earlier.

Eeeh. I'm okay-ish. Pissed off. Taking a stab at cleaning the kitchen; most of the counters and the stovetop are done, next step, mopping the floor. Was planning other stuff but I caught mom drinking (quelle surprise) and it ruined my mood.

I was already tired from spending all day Sunday keeping an eye on her and then all Monday starting at midnight in the ER and hospital because my keeping an eye on her because she felt shitty turned into her vomiting blood clots everywhere. I'm so mad right now part of me is pissed it wasn't fatal; she went from being happy she was going to live and grateful that I helped her (and cleaned up her horror movie style vomit, seriously, she didn't just miss the toilet, it was all over the living room floor, but in the bathroom it went up the damn walls) to "I feel shitty and tired and I needed a drink, it was just one."

It was eleven in the morning. She has meds for withdrawal symptoms. I want her in a sober living home so, so badly, but she doesn't want to go because she can stay sober on her own, honest! The one her therapist wants her to go to lasts nine months. It's expensive, but it would let me finish my degree. School is hard enough without spending weekends when I should be working in the ER.

I'm really sorry, OP. You shouldn't have to deal with this, and I really hope that she changes her mind about the sober living home.

not entirely sure if I'm having an existential crisis or not. I could just be hungry. also I seem incapable of getting drunk anymore.

I hope you find something to eat (and the meaning of life?) Also I dunno if the drunk thing is good or not, I hope it just means it's not worth it for you anymore and not that your tolerance is so high you have to do permanent damage before you get buzzed. Intellectually I know drinking can be a fun harmless way to unwind, but I know (and knew) too many alcoholics.

Recovering from a migraine that sent me home from work (I was vomiting, boo) and had me passed out for about five hours. I feel a bit better now tho!

Ugh. Migraines suck, glad you're feeling better. Hopefully you can sleep the rest of it off and it stays gone.
