Just because she's mega rich doesn't mean that she can't know heartbreak. Studies have been done that prove that actually money doesn't buy happiness. I can't be bothered looking them up but it has been proved. So the idea of 'soothing heartbreak' with 'another mansion' is a false equivalence to being dumped. She may be a millionaire superstar but she is human. Sure, she uses it to sell music, I don't think OP is denying that. OP clearly relates to her on a human level, when it comes to finding love. I'm not a particular fan of Taylor but I can see where OP is coming from.

The one I read said that once you get over around £40,000 p/a your happiness stops increasing with your wealth. So it certainly makes you happier about things you couldn't afford when you were poor and it's easier to deal with emotional stuff if you're not struggling, but on the other hand Swift deals with stuff I could never cope with, no matter how much money I had.

That said, it's a hell of a lot easier to be unhappy and rich than it is to be unhappy and poor.
