I would love to have a fandom for The Road Pictures and for the Rat Pack. I want fics and meta about how gay they all are for each other. I want fan theories about behind-the-scenes pics and videos. I want to squee over paparazzi photos. I want to see memes and terrible snapchat filters over all their photos. I want it so freaking bad I could scream.

The Wild North, a 1952 film starring Wendell Corey and Stewart Granger. A mountie and a fugitive are handcuffed together for like 1/3 (maybe 1/2, I'd have to watch it again) of the film while they try to survive in the wilderness and the mountie is given the nickname "bébé" by said fugitive, so...yeah, I wish there was a fandom for it. The movie is over 60 years old though so I totally get why there isn't one.

Ooh, that reminds me of The 39 Steps, with Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll getting handcuffed together and having to pretend to be married to get a room at an inn. There's no fandom for that, either....

There is a podcast I listen to called The Truth. It has an episode called You're Not Alone. http://www.thetruthpodcast.com/story/2013/5/9/youre-not-alone

I have listened to that episode (it is like a 17 minute story) about 20 times. I love it and have several ships (in my head) from it.

The book series Partials?

I want it to be a TV miniseries so badly. I worry if it was made into a movie that it would crash and burn like Divergent (which was really the fault of Allegiant being terrible anyway) but the Partial books were so good.

The videogame Alpha Protocol. I would love to read some gen fic that low-key ships Albatross/Sis but leaves it unrequited.

Monster Force. 13 episodes only. Had a good chunk of the Universal Monsters in the cast (only ones missing were the Invisible Man and the Phantom of the Opera) and it had a good plot. (And they only released 1 DVD with only the first 7 episodes. Ugh! Why? Why you do this, Universal?)

And while we're in the genre, I have several westerns that I'd like to see a fandom for, some of them are pretty obscure (like White Feather) or not even classic westerns (The Good, The Bad, The Weird).

I love the original M7. I've written two fics for it. I'm cautiously hopeful that the new M7 movie coming out this year will bring some people to the old one but I'm also bracing myself that there will be an influx of fic for the new movie and it will overtake anything from the old one.

Replica series by Marilyn Kaye.

It's like Orphan Black, but for tweens, and features lots of 90s and early 00s references. It's really stupid (in a good way) but also loads of fun and omfg there's a plot twist in every book. I get all giddy just thinking about it.
At first you think it's full of clichés and stereotypes, and then BAM. SURPRISE MOTHERFUCKER. You thought this was a nice, sweet chicklit series? Nah son, you got played!

So there's this girl, Amy, who basically wins at life because she's so perfect at everything and never gets sick. Turns out she's a clone and her mom totally kidnapped her from some shady laboratory years ago. Hijinks ensue. (If I had to sum it up, it's like a girly version of X Files.)

I used to hunt down any Replica fics I could get my hands on, but I've given up. There's just no fandom anymore, and everybody who grew up with the series is already a grownup. Plus I feel like any potential new fan will just compare it to Orphan Black (which I do, too) or they're put off by the "perfect" protagonist (she's not! she's selfish and petty and I love it).

I just. Sigh. I love it and I wish it had a fandom.

Okay, I kinda want to read this now.
