Korra/Asami, granted it was at the end of the series so we didn't get to see if the writers would fuck it up, but I'll still be shipping it in the comics if they do them.

Shatterstar/Rictor, shipped them before they were an item and very much shipped them after they became one too.

Rick/Evie, while it was clear they'd hook up in the movie I was shipping them hard from the campfire scene where Evie is drunk and I continued to absolutely adore them in The Mummy Returns.

Ivy/Harley, have shipped them for a long while and knowing they're canon atm just makes me love them all the more.

Sheridan/Delen, it's been a long time since I've watched the series but I remember rooting for them so hard and still loving them after they got together(I think they ripped my heart out several times as well).

Niles/Daphne, oh man did I root for them and then absolutely love their relationship after they got together too.

Remus/Tonks, I totally rooted for them and was initially happy when they got together, I wouldn't say I stopped shipping them I just really didn't like how they were written in the following books.

And Magnus/Alec got together and I'm happy with that and I'm still shipping them.

Yay, Niles/Daphne! The best thing about them is that even knowing they wound up together, that still doesn't take away from the happy feelings I get watching their interactions in the years leading up to that when I watch the reruns :). Episodes like the one where they go to that ball together and do that awesomely sexy tango, or the one where Daphne helps Niles prepare for a date with "Phyllis", are still just as enjoyable and bittersweet and poignant to me.

I know!

And I don't sit there going 'omg just get on with it' if I re-watch the series, I just sit there soaking up all the build up and loving them just as much. I just love them, so fucking much.

Yeah, "Frasier" did the "slow burn" buildup with those two just right. Most shows, the "will they/won't they?" can get so dragged out and ridiculous, but the obstacles Niles and Daphne went through fit with their respective situations, and they got to build and develop a really nice friendship in the meantime.

They'll always be one of my favorite TV couples, for sure :).

And I forgot to add Jackie/Hyde as well, I was actually more low-key shipping it before they got together, like 'wouldn't it be fun if' kind of deal rather than expecting it and when it happened I was surprised then watching them actually be together made me love them even more.

Oh and Bulma/Vegeta is totally on this list too, it was initially a crack-ship in my head 'hey wouldn't it be funny if Bulma hooked up with the angry monkey-alien prince'... and then it happened and I was like 'wtf' then so down with it. Especially in the Buu saga just, my feelings.

Niles/Daphne were about the only couple I shipped who became canon and I thought it was handled really well except for the "fat arc" from Jane Leeves' pregnancy. I just skip those eps.
